New Beginnings Children's Home - Albania

Established in 1992, shortly after the Albanians opened their borders to the outside world. The New Beginnings Children's Home seeks to provide a loving caring family environment for children who might otherwise be confined to state orphanages. In 2000 a team from the church visited the home to help with some building maintenance, we plan to go back this summer to help out when the staff have their holidays. Bristol Soup Run

The Bristol Soup Run Trust is not a Christian organisation but is open to churches taking responsibility for helping the homeless. Every four weeks a team of people from MTCC go into Bristol to hand out soup, sandwiches, clothing and other essential supplies to homeless people. This team is supported by a larger group of soup and sandwich makers. Read more about the Soup Run in Branching out.
